Hamilton. Summit Park is one of the great new locations that’s seeing a lot of

Close Enough to Toronto Without Feeling Crowded

Visiting Summit Park can give you a taste of what the region offers but it won’t tell you exactly what

it’s like living in this community of more than 3,000 Canadians. While the Ontario location isn’t as famous as its neighbor Toronto, it’s just a 45-minute drive south for one of the nicest communities in the province.

The region used to be nothing but farmland but in recent years, there’s been a great deal of development that has allowed Summit Park master-planned community to reach its full potential. It’s one of the best places to live in Hamilton because it’s rich with lush amenities.

Look around and you’ll find gorgeous single homes and townhomes that have been put up starting from 2004. These homes are high-end, sturdy living spaces that feel like home as soon as you move in.

Part of that is because the region is teeming with the number of shopping locations, banks, public transit, dining, and entertainment options you’d expect in the city. On top of that, there are enough medical professionals around to care for the needs of family members at every age and stage of life.

Education for All Ages

Families are looking to relocate to Summit Park in large numbers partly because of the quality of education their kids receive there. With convenient access to highly-ratedschools and academic programs, the region teaches kids K-12 and offers college education at nearby Mohawk College and University education at McMaster

University.

Hamilton is a great place for post-secondary aged kids to study and being such a short drive from Summit Park, families can stay connected even as kids grow to adulthood.

Summit Park’s separate high school Bishop Ryan, is beloved by students and parents alike. Parents find communicating with the school and contacting teachers to be a breeze and the school’s website is constantly updated with important information.

The separate elementary school, Our Lady of Assumption, even ran webinars and socially distant programs during the 2020 Coronavirus outbreak. In additions to these new schools, in 2019, the community welcomed the new Shannen Koostacin Elementary School.

The schools are built to be tech-forward, offering all students the education they need to be competitive in the workforce. They also have a student-to-teacher ratio that ensures that every student gets the attention they need from kindergarten through graduation.

Nature is Abundant in Summit Park

Summit Park is great for living, but it’s also excellent for relaxing. The homes and amenities have somuch to offer that it’s easy to forget that the region is lush with green space.

Taking in fresh air has never been easier when living in Summit Park. The region is teeming with fresh air and the best that Hamilton can offer when it comes to conservation areas and parks.

In just a few minutes,

you could walk to the Eramosa Karst Conservation Area. Here, you’ll find places

to watch birds and wildlife, explore trees that you’ve never seen, and wow kids

with the kinds of discoveries they learn about in the classroom. Binbrook Conservation Area, Confederation Park, Christie

Lake, and Fifty Point are also just a short drive away from the summit Park

community.

The parks within the

community have playgrounds to fit kids of every age. Summit Park itself has a

well-kept basketball court, a large playground, and a pavilion to take a picnic

with your kids.

Bellagio Park is another

local park that has all the amenities of Summit Park and is located just off of

Bellagio Ave. If you want nature right at your doorstep, there’s no better

place to live than Summit Park.

Commuters Delight

For people working in

Hamilton or Toronto, commuting is simple. The network of highways and roads in

the region was built for commuters and connects Summit Park to Hamilton or even

to further drives.

We’ll start with our own little neck of the

woods. Summit Park is located on the Hamilton Mountain is almost its own city,

featuring several main roads and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway, or “The Linc”,

a highway that connects the major areas on the escarpment. The Linc is easily

accessible from Summit Park giving you the ability to quickly travel to your

destination. This parkway connects to highway 403. Which can take you to

downtown Hamilton area as well as The QEW. The other major connection is

to The Red Hill Valley Parkway which gives you quick access to East

Hamilton as well as The QEW. Commuting is simple and easy when you live at

Summit Park!

Summit Park is also on

the bus route to take you to Stoney Creek, Westdale,

or the Ancaster Meadowlands. Just taking the bus

downtown will let you get into the passenger’s seat for a change and maybe do a

little reading while you’re on the way to work.

Let’s not forget to

mention all of the GO stations. Confederation GO, Hamilton GO, West Harbour GO, or take you to your favorite locations. With

the broad scheduling they offer, you’ll never be without a way to get where you

need to go.

Summit Park Isn’t Done Growing
